Comprehensive Psychology Services Offered by Florence Street Family Practice

Florence Street Family Practice offers personalised care through diverse therapeutic modalities, using evidence-based approaches to support mental health and well-being for individuals of all ages.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a first-line treatment for depression, proven to help individuals identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns. This evidence-based approach fosters healthier behaviours and emotional well-being, empowering clients to achieve positive, lasting changes.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Using a range of therapeutic techniques, ACT focuses on building mindfulness, embracing challenging emotions, and aligning actions with personal values. This approach enhances resilience, promotes psychological flexibility, and supports long-term mental health improvements.

Trauma-Focused Therapy

Trauma-focused therapy offers a safe and supportive environment to address the lasting effects of trauma. Using evidence-based methods, it helps clients process their experiences, rebuild resilience, and regain control over their emotional well-being, fostering long-term recovery.

Assisting Children and Teens

Children and teens face unique challenges that can impact their mental health and development. Our psychologists offer tailored support for ADHD, anxiety, low self-esteem, and behavioural issues, using evidence-based therapies to help young individuals thrive emotionally and socially.

Improving Self Esteem

Building self-esteem involves identifying and challenging negative beliefs while fostering positive thought patterns. Our psychologists use evidence-based strategies to empower clients with self-confidence, resilience, and the skills to embrace personal strengths and improve mental well-being.

Schema Therapy

Schema therapy helps clients uncover and address deeply rooted patterns formed during childhood. By fostering self-awareness and emotional resilience, this evidence-based approach empowers individuals to break unhelpful cycles, build healthier relationships, and achieve lasting personal growth.
